I heard this really annoying beeping sound coming from somewhere near my head. I slowly opened my eyes and saw that I was in a darkened hospital room. It was dark outside and I turned my head slightly to the side to see Blaze asleep in the chair next to my bed.
I managed to move my hand over and I touched his leg that was resting on my bed, making him wake up immediately.
“Gen. Holy s**t. Is that really you?” He asked, leaning forward.
“Who else would it be?” I asked, confused.

“What do you remember?” He asked. So I looked at him for a moment before the memories started flooding back about Sophie and running through the forest and getting shot by those men on the side of the road.
