After getting the news of Gen’s dad, she almost collapsed on the ground and I was so glad that Blaze was there. He stopped her from hitting the ground and she wrapped her arms around him. He didn’t care either. He hugged her back just as hard as she was holding on to him.
The doctor wanted to talk about arrangements for her dad but Blaze stopped him and said that Gen would be in touch with them. He wasn’t going to force her to deal with that right now. Both of us could see that she wasn’t up for that.
So we led her out of the hospital and got her back to the packhouse.
