Matt was back and very unhappy. He’d spoken to the 37 wolves that lived inside that brothel. 28 of them were female and 9 of them were male. All of them had been sent there against their own will. Sent here to this encampment by an invading Alpha to their home pack for being an enemy; that just wouldn’t fall into line.
Or by their own Alpha as a punishment for committing some crime against his family, that to them was not warranted, a slap or hit to one of the Alpha’s own children in the defence of themselves or some other wolf that the Alpha’s own heirs were bullying.
Matt had gone and found all of their enlistment scrolls so he could check what was written in them, because each one of them had been sent here with a lawful enlistment scroll as far as they were all concerned.
