The night was a bloody long battle for her and the mate-less, though to their complete shock, two units consisting of 15 more warriors had come to their aid, though they didn’t rush out onto the battlefield or jump right into the battle either.
Kind of just sauntered out and stood around and watched on, until one of the vampires decided they were fair game, and those soldiers; they were not much help to them at all. They didn’t come over to assist them, and they were, from what she saw and heard, not well-trained, and she didn’t feel that they should be out there at all, on the battlefield if they were going to be that useless and run about screaming in fear, and trying to get away, which only incited the bloody vampires; they liked the smell of fear.
