Hoisting my back pack on one shoulder, I headed straight to the parking lot with Alec barely struggling to catch up. “What with the hurry?” He questioned, getting into the front passenger seat while throwing his backpack carelessly at the back seat. “I have to see Faith. I figured calling won’t solve anything,” “Right. By the way I heard Mrs. Carter is being discharged today. Faith’s mother is apparently throwing her this small welcome home party,” he shrugged, adjusting the seatbelt as I pulled out of the parking lot. “Well, she has been through hell. Besides, after the hell this town has been for the past few months, a little happiness could go a
