Chase was mad and admittedly he had every right to be. Mrs. Carter was not just a friend to him but he’d been closer to her that his own parents since he was a kid. Now she was lying in the hospital, in the ICU after thankfully receiving a blood transfusion. She’d lost so much blood but since this was clearly an attack, the cops would be arriving in the hospital anytime soon and someone had already tipped off the journalists of a local news channel.
