Chapter 29 | Hospital
Nixon's gaze was adoring as he stares at her, she felt it in her heart. He had supported her decision of taking Zoe in and even said that he would help her with the paper work, since he has some of the best lawyers in contact.
"Miss Carson?" A nurse called her from the ICU. Belinda stood on her toes in a flash.
"Yes?"
"Zoe is awake. Would you like to see her?"
She did not waste a second and sprinted in. The nurse left them to give them some privacy but Nixon followed Belinda inside.
"Linda" Zoe said softly as her lip was busted in the corner so she could squeal like she usually did.
