Since the throne room is occupied by kings and the royal advisers of the different kingdoms, Aaron found himself in a smaller hall the next morning. The dining hall has also been reserved for them. Since they were discussing matters of great importance, outsiders are not allowed. Queen Elise can actually join them, but she’s worried about her husband that she didn’t want to bother with other things for now. Her father can handle those fae.
Aaron wasn’t surprised to see her in such a place. They ate breakfast in silence. Afterwards, they went to visit Corrine. Erik had been watching over her since they returned.
“She hasn’t woken up yet?” Aaron asked as he sat down. Erik shook his head.
“You should rest, too. We’ll watch over her.” Elise tried to convince him.
