“Avery.” Kayen called to her, watching her heading straight to the cafeteria. He returned early in the morning to the pack. He spent nearly ten days with Amariel, preparing to handle Jericho. Amariel talked to him about Jericho’s entire history. She explained to him why exactly they expelled him not only from the coven, but from the entire community.
“You are back.” Avery seemed to be surprised. Liam told her he would come when he finished his work with Amariel, but she didn’t expect him before the time came up.
