For a long time, they were out of the woods, following the clean road on their way to the town. Avery noticed several signs directing them to different towns around the road, but not even once Liam turned the wheel to change their direction. “You didn’t tell me there are more towns around your place.” Avery didn’t mean to scold Liam for keeping information from her, yet she felt confused and disappointed. It almost looked like they were taking her to a further city on purpose. “They are the same size as ours, so I wouldn’t call them cities. Most of them have a little over a thousand or two in the population and except for a*****e to purchase necessities, you can’t find anything else there. Some of them are purely hunting or farming communities, providing others with food, fat and hides.”
