Avery woke up early in the morning. Through a small window in her room, she saw darkness behind as the clouds covered the sky, hiding the stars and the moon behind. Her entire body screamed and protested against any sudden move she made as she tried to stretch her numb limbs. “Tomorrow” echoed in her mind.
