“You never have to lie to me, you know that, right, Lady Lara?”
I smiled at my manager, Rika, who, for the nth time, asked me the same exact thing. I even nodded because I do not know how else I would make her believe me. “I promise. Everything’s okay and everything’s alright.”
It is very understandable that up until now, she does not believe that I am okay. She has been telling me that we can go to the hospital together or even call our family doctor just to be sure that I was not sick nor feeling anything wrong; and I truly appreciate that.
