“Are you happy?”
I looked at my husband, Vain, with his undying question about my happiness. I could not help but to smile a little too wide for that. “My dear, you’re holding our son to sleep. You’re here with me, ruling the kingdom we both love. Soon, once our lifetime here ends, we will get to move on to our next universe. I am more than just happy.”
That finally made him smile too, and he walked towards me to give a kiss on the forehead before placing our son back to his crib. He has finally fallen asleep now after crying non-stop. That also made me put down my book on our bedside table, so I can properly welcome him to our bed again.
