It's been one year since I last saw Damian. Seeing him now is a bittersweet moment. From the moment I saw him and the look of belonging in his eyes, I wanted to run and jump into his arms. But I couldn't wait for so many reasons. The first was that when I saw him look at me, it reminded me of the last time we were together. Of how I caught him sleeping with another woman in our bed just hours after I'd been assaulted. That ache was like nothing else.
