I couldn't believe what was happening right now. One moment, everything was ok. The next, everything seemed to go to complete hell. I felt like I was having an out-of-body experience right now. I was too stunned to realize what was really happening. The woman that had single-handedly changed my life was now being held at gunpoint. I desperately wanted to get her out of there, but I couldn't figure out how. I had hoped that by stalling, the police would have enough time to get there.
