Girls I’m off for a walk, we’re good in the Abbey yeah?” I ask them and get grunts of confirmation, from my half-asleep friends. I walk the outline of the Abbey, all around the ancient buildings. The mist is falling and the sun is breaking through, its a beautiful morning where everything shines. The mist rises and settles its all dewy and the sun breaks through the trees leaving white lines in the falling mist.
I head towards the pond to see the fish; I’d always liked doing this when I was younger and learning to control my powers.
I send tiny currents around the fish that splash and play in them. As I make myself comfortable enjoying the morning, my chest starts to heave. I instantly go for my bond, examining it. Its fragile and frail but now even more so.
