Zada screamed in fury, propelling us towards the last of the smoke like spell. Which turned to be a portal, sucking Kasy away.
“Move, now! The portal” I shouted through the pack lines.
I had to get as many through that portal before the last tendrils of the spell left.
I had been sloppy, assuming that by killing Faith, it would stop the spell. I’d been sloppy by thinking it was a simple death magic spell.
