(Third Person POV)
Maribel had be back at her home for a few hours now when she felt her mate walk through the door. Maribel had given the kids a bath and fed them before putting them to sleep. She was exhausted and was ready to take a nap, but when she felt her mate walk through the door she felt fully awake.
“Hi baby. How did everything go?” Maribel asked softly not wanting to wake the kids.
“Everything went well until I told them I had the kids” Xander admitted and her eyes widened. She was trying to show her fear, but her mate could feel it. Xander pulled his mate towards him and told her everything his uncles told him. By the time he was done talking Maribel knew that her thoughts from earlier were correct and she couldn’t help but feel more fear.
