“You are right, she does have a lifetime of experience and she is a Lycan” Yamilet glares up at me. Her eyes are glowing bright with anger and hurt. I could see her Phoenix rising and I knew I had f****d up the moment those word left my lips.
“But I’m a f*****g Phoenix. If I die during a fight or something, I will rise from the ashes. Can she?” she asked as her chest rose and fell rapidly. She was hurt and angry and this was my doing. I didn’t meant to belittle or criticize her. I just want her to live in comfort. I opened my mouth to say something, but her phoenix rose even more. It was fascinating and scary at the same time.
“I DON’T WANT TO TALK TO YOU ANYMORE!” she shouted before stomping away. I put my head down in shame. How did things go so wrong?
