I was in the parlor with everyone else waiting for dinner to be served when my mate’s intoxicating scent filled my nose. I turned around just as she came down the right staircase. She’s wearing a black and light blue maternity dress that reached the floor. The dress was tight around her chest and her belly then flared out. I walked towards her before she got to the last stair and held my hand out for her to take.
“You look beautiful” I said truthfully.
“Thank you” she blushed as I rubbed her belly.
“So, is everything okay with the baby?” Bianca asked.
“Yes, everything is fine with the baby” I said. I was so thankful to have friends like the ones we have.
