“You defeated the darkness before,” I said as I looked between the twins. I was now desperate, and I didn’t care what they wanted to keep secret. “And I’m no fool. The darkness will always be around, but this time, it has attacked me and my mate,”
“The threat from the darkness…” Christina whispered as she shook her head. “It is not something you want to…play with,”
“I want my mate back and she deserves to have her life back,”
“Of course,” Colin said as he stood up. “But…at what cost, Josiah?”
“I know they want something from me…the question is what do they want?” I started to pace around the living room. Amani had gone back home earlier this morning, but we had plans for later and I wanted this situation fixed, once and for all.
