Josiah "If I can't be seen...then where can we talk?" I asked softly. "My house is close by...go there and wait for me," she said as she slid her keys across the table. I watched as she then took out her phone and fumbled with it a bit before she handed it to me. "It's an easy twenty-minute walk," I looked down to see that it was a zoomed-in map. She didn't live far. Without another word, I grabbed the keys and the phone before I hurriedly, but discreetly left the diner. I kept my head down and followed the directions.
