“Are you ok?” Amani asked as she looked down at me. I wasn’t supposed to let her go upstairs. That meant I would have to get creative.
“No, could you come back here for a minute?” I all but pleaded. She didn’t say anything as she came back down. Once she was in front of me, I once again pulled her into my arms. “I just wanted to congratulate you again,” I said, and she smiled.
“Is that all?”
“Well, no…I was thinking that maybe we could take a dip in the hot tub,” as soon as I said the words, I realized my mistake. “Naked,” I hurriedly added, and she blushed.
“Don’t you think it’s a bit early to be doing that sort of celebrating? After all, anyone could show up,” she said, and she wasn’t wrong, but I couldn’t let her go upstairs.
