The Gold estate had many secrets, but none more feared than the dungeon. Beneath the house, past layers of marble and manicured elegance, was a place carved from stone and shadow — soundproofed, blood-stained, and devoid of mercy. Rumors had it that no one goes in there and comes out alive. The scarred servant was bound to a steel chair bolted to the floor, wrists tied behind his back, ankles shackled. A large iron ring hung from the ceiling above him, ropes dangling — some frayed, some freshly knotted. A drain ran beneath his feet, scarred with dried red.
