Leonardo sat alone in his office, the soft ticking of the clock the only sound. He reached for his phone and dialed a number he hadn’t called in a while—Don Vittorio, the eldest of the five families. The line rang once before Vittorio’s deep voice answered. “Leonardo. I was just about to call you.
