Across town, the missing maid stepped out of the run down motel she had been hiding in for days. She wore black trousers, a hoodie, a cap pulled low, and a mask covering most of her face. Her eyes looked around as she pulled the hood tighter, her every movement filled with nervous energy. She turned the corner—only to slam straight into someone’s chest. “Got you,” a deep voice said.
