Cain showed up with fifty of his warriors to help us. He said he figured since
one of the witches made him kill his Mate and she is now his wife he should be
here. I cannot say I am happy to see him, I know the witch had him under a
spell and made him kill my mother, but the images of that day still play’s
heavy in my head.

and Brook have returned from school, I sent Brook to help Harper watch over the
