Leah Caden wasn’t playing by the rules, and I was getting increasingly irritated. Once Chloe was out of the picture, he was supposed to choose me. Why wasn’t he choosing me? I was pretty. I was smart. What the hell was his problem? My phone rang, and I picked it up on the third ring. “I’m sending a car to come pick you up,” my mate informed me from the other end of the line. “Have them pick me up out back,” I instructed. Caden had left to formally put his name in to date the princess, but he could be back at any time. I didn’t want him to see me leaving in a strange car.
