I turned to Leah, anger eating me up inside. “What the f**k do you think you’re doing?” I growled, my wolf unable to hide its displeasure with her. As Alpha I should have a steady hold on my emotions, but as I watched Chloe walk away something snapped inside me.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” she huffed, not meeting my eyes. She knew exactly what she’d done, and the worst part was I know she wasn’t remorseful even though she had absolutely been in the wrong.
