“You want to what?” Althaia Dukas looked at me as if I were crazy.
“I want to take Sirena out on a ride. She needs the fresh air. She’s been locked up for days. Let me take her out.” I was leaning across her desk, looking at her intensely. Althaia had her arms crossed over her chest.
“Do you think that I’m an i***t?” she tilted her head and narrowed her eyes at me. “I know all about the deal that Antero struck with her. I know everything that my i***t nephew does. I should have let you seduce her. I wouldn’t be having this problem.”
