I have never been so relieved to be finished with classes. Things with Gavin were awkward. He couldn’t even look at me, never mind say anything to me. I wish it didn’t have to be like that. We are adults. We could have talked and sorted things out, but I don’t believe Gavin is ready for that. I sigh as I exit the building, eager to see Kylan and get away from here. I glance around and spot him resting against his car, waiting for me. I am glad Gavin is going in the opposite direction because, even though Kylan said he wouldn’t do anything, I don’t know if his opinion would change if he saw him, and I don’t need the drama.
