This chapter is happening at the same time as the previous chapters, after Drave/Mike learns that Trigger took his mate back.
The room had been unrecognizable by the next morning. My wolf Dan had destroyed everything that was within his sight and within his reach. Lamps smashed against the floor and walls. He smashed the small desk into nothing but splinters of wood. The couch and mattress had the majority of the stuffing ripped out and was now scattered all around the room. Triggers scent was still present in the room by the time I made it back after our failed attack on Black Willow.
