The sound of the cutting torch as it cut through thick metal was very loud, all the nighttime critters silenced. It wasn’t the best option for getting in, but it was the only way to get into the sealed tunnels beneath The Halo Pack.
The tunnels were built as an escape route for the pack members when the pack was originally founded and well before improvements in modern technology for the safety bunkers which most all packs have now. This left the tunnels obsolete and they have been sealed closed ever since.
This particular door was just outside of the royal pack territory, so there wasn’t a chance of being spotted by a guard, but because of the sound echoing around the now quiet forest, it was possible that someone might hear. If a warrior just so happened to be walking close by while
