As the others dispersed, I stayed back for a moment, eyes sweeping over my people, my pack. I could feel their pride in me like a heartbeat. Even without a wolf, I had built something unbreakable and I wanted it to remain like this forever. I began to walk in the direction of the pack house and Kosey was next to me in an instant, his hand draped playfully on my shoulder. “Wow, they love you so much.
