Chapter 55: Late

I am still in shock at what happened together with Jake and Nicole. I didn’t know Jake could be like that. I thought that she doesn’t want to hurt Nicole at first because I can see that he is not interested in any action that Nicole is showing to him but he is not saying anything. But now he really did. Nicole just got inside the classroom. When she got inside, she was looking down. Wait, I haven’t seen Nicole together with anyone before, or maybe I just don’t seem to notice that she has been together with other girls. 

Why was she acting like that though? “Whaa!” I suddenly felt goosebumps all over my body. We still have 5 minutes before the class starts and the teacher is still not inside. I wonder where she is. Instead of looking at other people, I took my phone out of my pocket and started to search for a video that I wanted to see. 

“Oh! They have a new video teaser?” I said as soon as I saw the notification on YouTube. The timing is really great to see it. Usually, in KPOP they release teasers before the MV. I think it is the same for other artists all over the world. But I really like KPOP MV teasers because they add a lot of additional things so the fans will watch the MV and be excited. I really like the way SM entertainment (KPOP entertainment) makes teasers. You can really see how they wanted their results to be good. You can really see how much money they spent on the production. They also have a lot of catchy songs so I am really excited to see the teaser. 

I also took my earphones out and plugged them on my phone then immediately clicked the MV to play. I am so excited to see it. “Whaa!! This is really good.” I said as soon as it started. They really know how to make good shots. The thing is that they are just so amazing. Throughout the whole video, I was just full of admiration.

After that, I plugged my earphones into my phone to prepare myself for the class. I looked at the time on my phone. “3 minutes left.” I said as I saw the time. I suddenly felt weird so I looked at the people around me. “What?!” I said to my classmates that are looking at me. They are literally looking at me. I wonder what I did. They are not yet answering me but just kept looking at me. Their eyes were like asking me what is wrong with me. After a few seconds, my phone vibrated. So when I opened it, I saw that Michael messaged me. Instead of opening it, I turned to look at Michael. I saw him looking at me and telling me to read his message to me. 

The time that I opened the message and read the message I immediately looked at my classmates. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to, I was watching and got carried away.” I said as I apologized. Michael sent me a message. “What is wrong with you? You kept on shouting there.” This is Michael’s message. That is why I immediately asked for forgiveness. My classmates might have been really shocked by my attitude. I didn’t do it purposely. Besides, I am not the kind of person who would do such a thing. “HAHAHA!” All my classmates laughed. 

“Hmm… hehe hehe.” I replied to all of them. “s**t! This is awkward. I am literally trying my best to also smile at them. After a few seconds, everything came to its proper place. They were no longer laughing and they started to continue doing what they were doing before they heard me shouting. “Did I really shout? I can’t believe myself.” I said to myself as I tried to pinch myself using my hand. 

If Michael didn't text me I would not know that they were looking at me because of my own doings. This is a lesson learned. I should now watch something like this that might excite me in front of other people or if I am surrounded by people. “I really should not do the same thing again.” I said to myself as I pulled myself together. “Ugh! Erase… erase!” I said to myself and sat on my chair properly. 

The class is about to start, I am quite lucky that the teacher is not around. If she was, I would better die. This is something that I don’t want to remember. “Ppppppp…” I said and shrugged my body to take away the embarrassment. “Oh, I should say thanks.” I said and grabbed my phone. “Michael, thanks : )

I did not bother to look at him. But something was really on my mind, I turned to look at Jake. “Don’t tell me, did he also hear me when I was having my own world?” I said as I turned to look at him. “Thank goodness.” I said after seeing him with his earphones. I don’t know but I thought that I would be really embarrassed if the teacher, now I am changing it. It might be better if teacher Krystal heard me but not Jake. I would rather die than share this embarrassment with him. 

“Wait, why do I have to be shy about it?” I said as I scratched my head. “Ugh! This is frustrating!” I said to myself. I don’t know why but I really don’t want him to see me in such a thing. It is a good thing now. I will really try my best to be cautious. “Okay! That was in the past now. No more like that.” I said to myself and sat on my chair properly. 

We only have a minute before the teacher will start the lesson but she is still in the classroom. Did something happen with teacher Krystal? She doesn’t seem to be the kind of teacher who is irresponsible and would be late for class. “Maybe she caught up with traffic.” I said to myself. I am now becoming crazy. I am asking and answering myself. It is better to talk to yourself. It makes your work great.  

“Hey, class!” Teacher Krystal said as soon as she got inside the classroom. See? She was not late, she got inside the classroom on time. My classmates started to clap their hands with teacher Krystal. “I guess I am not the only one waiting for her.” I said and started clapping my hands too. While clapping my hands, I started to notice that she was breathing heavily. “Did something happen?” Michael asked the teacher, Krystal. I was also about to ask the same question. What a coincidence, Michael and I have the same way of thinking. 

“There was an old woman who collapsed on my way. I could not take it so I helped. I tried calling for an emergency but due to the traffic they could not go to the place where the old woman collapsed so I did not have a choice and started to revive the old woman.” Teacher Krystal said to all of us. “Do you know how to revive a person?” I asked the teacher, Krystal. The situation she was in was not easy at all. If something happens to the old woman she might go to jail. Besides, she is not a medical practitioner, she is a teacher so I really wonder. “Good thing, I learned how to do it when I was still going to school. But it was the first time doing it in a real-life situation.” Teacher Krystal replied to my question. “How did it go?” John asked the teacher, Krystal. “The old woman was revived. Thankfully.” Teacher Krystal said while smiling. I can see how happy she is but I wonder how she was nervous about doing such a thing. 

“Yay!” Everybody said as soon as we heard teacher Krystal’s answer. Not just the teacher is happy but also my classmates. I hope she will rest first. She really also tried not to be late for the class which is really amazing and thoughtful of her. She is really an amazing person. I think a lot of people like her. She is kind, good, smart, and helpful to people. She is kind of fun to talk to. "Is teacher Krystal married?" I asked myself while my classmates were still not over praising teacher Krystal. I wonder if she is, I hope that he will go to a nice person too. "Thank you so much class, but we still have a class, remember?" Teacher Krystal said to the whole class. "Yes!" My classmates shouted as a reply to her question. "Okay, let's start the class now then." Teacher Krystal said and she prepared herself in the class.
