Aunt Rochelle was shocked when Jason walked into the house with Lexi right behind him , suitcases in their hands .
“What is going on ?” She asks with a smile , not wanting to seem uninviting towards them .
“Lexi is going to stay here for a while .” Jason clears his throat , both of her suitcases next to him with his hand rested on the handles .
Aunt Rochelle’s eyes flick to Lexi’s glassy ones , her lips parting as she inhales a breath .
“Is everything alright ?” Alec’s mother asks and Jason turns to look at Lexi , waiting for her to say something , but she just blankly stares at his mother .
“She’ll talk when she’s ready .” Jason offers a small smile and his mother nods , “Alright .” Rochelle smiles , her eyes flicking down to the bags and then back up at Lexi .
