The awkwardness between Alec and Lexi came when all three of them were squeezed into the bed , all sitting with their backs rested against the headboard , watching an action movie .
The big bowl of popcorn was placed on Lexi’s lap as she was sitting between her sister and Alec , the duvet covering their legs .
Halfway into the movie , Lexi began to ignore his presence as she focused on the tv screen .
“Ouch .” Quinn gasps , her eyes narrowing as she stares at the car flipping five times before screeching against the road , sparks igniting .
“ Is it going to explode ?” She asks agape , her eyes wide and Alec begins to laugh , shaking his head .
“No , the sparks were on the roof . It would need a spark near the engine to ignite .” He shrugs , “These movies just over exaggerate .”
