When I arrive at Rory's house I get down from the car and handed my white diamond earrings to the driver just like I had bargained with him and I run into the gates of, but unlike usual (because I've been here a few time,) there is no guard or security around and I begin to wonder why that is and if he was inside but summoning my courage up, I walk inside.
I open the door into the living room which is awfully quiet and I enter. With every step I take, my heartbeat increases and I direct my feet into the bedroom first, but I don't see him there. I decided to look in his study room where he had taken me a few times the past weeks.
