"What are you doing here?" I asked Nadine.
"I wanted to speak to you guys about something," she said.
I invited her in. I haven't spoken to her much since our last encounter. Things have been awkward, to say the least. She was an enemy, after all.
"Oh, hey Nadine. Glad to see you here even though last time we met, you tried to sell me to some gross old dude," Summer said nonchalantly.
"Yeah, about that...that's what I am here for," Nadine shifted uncomfortably.
I looked at her questioningly.
"I realized I've never properly apologized to Summer for what I did. And for everything I've done," she said.
