Summer P.O.V.
I went inside the elevator and clicked on the Lobby button. My heart was racing. I just saw someone else's throat get slit. I would be lying if I said I wasn't scared shitless. Ares was brutal. I can only imagine Andrew's father's fate right now. I still felt horrible about it. Andrew's friendly smile flashed in my mad and I felt like I would explode with guilt. How am I supposed to go downstairs and act normal now?
But I had to do it for Ares. It's me and him against the world, right?
I went to the bathroom to clean the blood that sprinkled on my face and fixed my make up, then went to find Andrew at the party.
"There you are! I was worried I scared you off," Andrew smirked.
"Sorry had a female emergency, you know the kind," I said and winked.
