At the office things went smoothly because Meredith was just talented and modest and impressed with every project she had. Today someone sent by Mr. Smith from the contest came to make a deal with MaxLine , to provide him an exclusive collection.
“The truth is that you were like a big investment” Max said, coming near her when everything finished with their new client.
"Excuse me?" Meredith asks, putting her hand on her chest.
“Your scholarship in Paris, your friendship with Francois Cassel, you winning that fantastic contest as an employee of MaxLine… All this, darling was a fantastic investment”
