Author’s POV
“Oh my goddess!” Mark Dickens “ What's on fire to hurry up like this?” and he enters Max's office with Luke, who didn’t say anything about why he’s there.
He just enters as he did many times before laughing with Luke who is all smiles and he finds Max on his chair , behind his desk, holding Meredith in his lap and kissing her as if there will be no tomorrow.
“Ho,ho,ho…horny wolves” he jokes with them. “You call me to mock me because I am single?” He laughs with all his heart, but inside Max's heart he feels like killing him in the next second.
“Don’t Max.” Meredith whispers through their mindlink.
“He doesn’t hear us”, Max said to her” Why are you whispering when we use our mindlink?” and he puts a hand on her cheek kissing her again.
