I was four days away from having been home for an entire month. We all knew the rogues could attack any day, and every werewolf in the pack was on high alert. We had decided to turn our cottage into the safe zone for all of the elderly, the disabled, and the pups during the battle.
Ace and Shelly had been staying with us at the cottage, while we turned half of the basement into a makeshift clinic, and the other half we lined with cots for the ones needing protection. We also stocked up on food, water and other necessities. Luckily, we had the game room full of stuff for everybody to occupy their time with.
I would have casted the protection spell on the pack house, but the Luna wanted to save the ingredients and do the entire territory. I could understand why
