James had to return to work today, and let me tell you, I was so sad when he had to leave. I had gotten used to having him near me all the time, and now it was just me and Bethany, until he returned from work. I couldn't help but feel anxious and worried that somebody would try to kidnap her again.
As soon as James left, I ran around the entire cottage checking every single door and window lock. When I felt confident that they were all secured, I carried Bethany's portable swing and bouncy seat down to the living room.
