The next month seemed to fly by. James was gone a lot, between his pack clinic responsibilities and helping Alpha Jason with some project. We still spent all of his free time together, and when he was busy, I would hang out with Ace, Aunt Chelsea, and Luna Elizabeth. I had made more friends in the pack, but I preferred to hang out with the three of them if I couldn't spend my time with my mate.
