I woke up to pain, so much pain. I screamed in agony as the searing pain intensified. I was screaming so loud, I didn't even hear Jada kick my door open. By this time I was rolled up in a ball in the middle of the floor screaming and writhing from the pain. My whole body felt like it was on fire and my heart felt like there were claws inside my chest shredding everything inside me to pieces.
Jada threw her body over me, hugging me close and crying. She yelled for Aunt Kay to help me, but Aunt Kay said, "there is nothing I can do to help with the pain she is experiencing." She refused to explain what was causing the pain when Jada asked, but I didn't want to know. I just wanted the pain to stop.
