There had been talk about a group of rogues planning an attack against our pack. They felt threatened by us, because we had so many hybrids in our pack, and they had gotten word that some of us were more powerful than your typical hybrid. That being said, I was even more adamant about casting the protection spell, as soon as possible.
The way this particular protection spell worked was odd. The spell would detect if somebody was surrounded by a good or bad aura. If the aura was bad, the spell would form a barrier around the area that was protected under it. If the person was surrounded by a good aura, the spell would remain dormant.
