I woke up with a start. The first thing that I became aware first was my aching dry mouth and throat. The way my cheekbone was pressed on the hard surface, I knew that I wasn’t in my bed at home.
I flickered my eyes open but shut them quickly due to the blinding light. After some moments, I tried to open my eyes again slowly. As my vision started to focus, I could make out the outline of a dark figure sitting in front of me.
