49 Lola knew it was a cheat, but she managed to end up in the other SUV from Tim and in the far back seat after making sure Emily Beale was sitting up front. The Delta Force colonel sat beside her and showed no inclination to speak. Good. She pressed the heel of her hand against her chest, feeling the pain.
