Roxanne woke up disturbed by her dream. It had been a long time since she had had a nightmare and even though it could have just been a dream, she could not shake the feeling that it was a premonition of things to come. It was very early in the morning and Roxanne, knowing she would not be able to fall back asleep, got out of bed and went to wash her face, comb her hair, and dress for the day. It would be a few hours until Bridget showed up in her room to help her but she could manage fine by herself, even with her enormous stomach.
